Thirsty for Living Water

The Lord is

Near, and as the deer

I long to hear

Your might voice

Call

Through dark of waves and wind

The roaring din, this twisting sin

Writhing to rupture, releasing within

“I give you faith, so come be filled.”

The Lord is

Strong, and I belong

His song of faith will ring

From molten core to every shore

From melting heart to soul restored

From every piece and every part

Of my sin-stricken hardened heart

“Fill me with your faith.”

The Lord is

Good, and I agree

That holiness is Christ in me, that

faith is given full and free so fill

me with your faith, give

me your good grace and help

me know your ways to

nourish my parched soul with your good gifts

Forever
