History
Transcendence is a literary magazine started in 2023, produced by St Mary Student Parish in collaboration with the Kateri Institute for Catholic Studies at the University of Michigan. It was created as a place for creative expression for Christians in the Ann Arbor area. Truth, beauty, and goodness have the power to save our increasingly secularized culture. The arts, though often underappreciated in the secular and religious spheres, have the ability to connect us with the Divine. Rooted in Ignatian Spirituality, Transcendence hopes to serve as a reminder that God is present in all things.
